Most of these inks are fluorescent, which means that when exposed to UV or black light, they appear to glow even though they are invisible to the human eye. The new invisible security ink improves consumer product protection on a broad range of printed materials, including film, shrink-sleeve labels, and pressure-sensitive labels. The unique UV ink fluoresces, making it visible only when exposed to ultraviolet light. There are currently two fluorescing hues available for these inks: blue and yellow.
